About EN pin threshold voltage of TLV717P

Hello.
My customer is currently in use TLV717xxP, I have gotten a question about this product .

So , I have a question about TLV717xxP.

<Question>

・Why this product is the definition of "EN Pin H Voltage" that there are two ?

Could you help us?

Best Regards,

Pokkun

  • Hi Pokkun,

I am not sure that I understand the question.  Per the Electrical Characteristics table, the device is enabled when the voltage on EN is 0.9V to Vin.  The device is disabled when the voltage on EN is 0 to 0.4V.

Could you help me understand where the customer is seeing an additional definition?

    Very Respectfully,

    Ryan

  • Hi Ryan,
    Thank you for your reply.

So what is the purpose of the following description ?
〇Datasheet p4 "PIN DESCRIPTIONS" ⇒EN PIN Column⇒ "Enable pin. Driving EN over 1.2 V turns on the regulator."

Why is the use as over 1.2 V, even though it is guaranteed at 0.4V?

I want to know this reason.

    Best Regards,

    Pokkun
  • Hi Pokkun,

This is a typo and will be corrected.  Please follow the Electrical Characteristics Table specifications for your design.
