I recently tried to do a learning cycle on the BQ27510 lithium-ion fuel gauge using the BQ27510EVM, the GDK, and Battery Management Studio software. When it finished, I opened the Battery Management Studio's Data Memory plugin to check the results. Under the "Gas Gauging" section, "Update Status 0" was 02 and "Update Status 1" was 00. I know that for system-side gauges, the Update Status should go from 00 to 01 to 02, such that 00 means failure and 02 means success. (Unlike pack-side gauges, where the Update Status goes from 04 to 05 to 06.)
What do my results mean? Success or failure?
