Can multi-channel LED driver ICs be used to create an array of voltage references?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC5922

Hello,

Can an LED driver (such as the TLC5922) be used to drive constant currents through an array of resistors instead of LEDs? I was thinking that the 'Dot Correction' feature could be used to program the currents through a set of precision resistors to create an array of programmable voltage references. Perhaps it might be necessary to put some diodes in series with the common feed to create any voltage drop that the IC might be expecting for LEDs? PWM must be avoided. I have never used LED driver ICs, so apologies if I am missing something obvious.

Thanks.
