BQ2057T: Operation of BQ2057T

Part Number: BQ2057T

Dear, All

Customers are testing with circuitry using BQ 2057T.
Charge the battery pack is completed and leave it as it is.
Since the battery pack side uses current in other circuits, the voltage of the battery drops when not charging for a certain period of time.
Therefore, the voltage of the battery pack dropped and it was recharged.
At this time, the state of the STAT pin repeats "H" and "Hi-Z".
Although the cycle has variations, "H" time is 1 uS and the period is about 20 uS.
Especially when a diode is inserted between the + terminal of the battery pack and the charger output, it often happens.

When this phenomenon occurs, the voltage at the TS pin is stable at about 5 V. VCC is about 12V.
I want advice on what is happening.

Thanks, Masami M.
