The value in the table is some kind of recommendation. Assuming appropriate inductor and external MOSFET, it's always possible to push output current to 20A above. 

For a controller, because the external components are selectable, we don't quite often talk about the maximum current. If you read the datasheet of LM5116 carefully, you can find that there is no such information about maximum output current because it is periphery depends. The limitations of maximum output current are often thermal consideration and current sense resistor.
