LM3880-Q1: min pulse of EN

Part Number: LM3880-Q1

Hi

Is there any limitation of EN pulse width?

The FLAG does not response if the small pulse of EN signal(High or Low) which is smaller than delay time is input.

  • Hi Koji
EN pin has a glitch free operation. The first timer will start counting at a rising threshold of EN, but will always reset if th EN pin is deaseerted before the first output flag is relased. Please refer section 7.3.1 of www.ti.com/.../lm3880-q1.pdf.

If the EN pulse width is less than the delay time, the FLAG does not response.

The EN pulse should stay active during whole power-up sequence.
if the EN is de-aserted before the power-up sequence is completed, the device enter a controlled shutdown. Please refer 7.3.2 of Data sheet.

    Regards
