Hi,Could you inform me of TPS74201 out put discharge function?Can this device discharge the output?Customer wants to know the fall time of TPS74201 after EN low.Please tell me how to calculate the fall time.Best Regards, Yusuke / Japan Disty
The TPS74201 does not have an active pull-down at the output. Once disabled, assuming no load, the only discharge path is via the feedback resistors. so the actual discharge will be a function of your feedback resistors and the capacitance at the output. if a load is connected, that would only help to accelerate the discharge of the output rail.
What is the application where they are looking for an active output discharge?
