UCC28700: Questions about reference design PMP10937

Part Number: UCC28700
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP10937,

Hi.

I am designing DC9V 400mA using reference design PMP10937.

It is difficult to check because there is no calculation formula or related data to adjust with DC output related 9V.

Currently, PCB design has been confirmed to operate up to 40mA. However, there is a problem that it can not be operated when 400mA is loaded.

I would appreciate it if you could give me a formula to adjust the DC output.

I would appreciate it if you let me know how the secondary turn ratio is compared to the primary.

Best Regard

Tyler

  • Hi Chun,

There are two pieces of software to help design with the UCC28700 on this webpage, www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware

One is an Excel based calculator which will allow you to specify the output voltage and current and the calculator will return values for the transformer design.

The other programme is based on Mathcad which will produce a similar set of data for the power supply design.

    Regards

    Peter
