BQ78350-R1: What is the default Unseal key

Hi,

I have got my device in the SEALED mode, which I think all the devices are shipped in this mode.

Obviously, I need to UNSEAL it, so that I make use of it.. What is the Unseal Key by default?

There is an Unseal button on the Commands panel in bqStudio. Yoy can use it to unseal the device. It contains the unseal keys as long as you have not changed them. there is also a Full Access button that you can use after unsealing to return the device to Full Access mode.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for your reply. We are not using BqStudio, we bought the chip from (Mouser UK) and we are trying to program it with a micro-controller via I2C/SMBus. Is there a way for us to find out what the unseal key is?

The default unseal keys are 0414 3672 and the full access keys are FFFF FFFF.
