TPS54260-Q1: Thermal-dependence on Compensation Circuit Parameters

Part Number: TPS54260-Q1

Dear, Sir.

My customer is evaluation TPS54260-Q1 for their system, now.

At this time, they are asking as below ;

Sevral parameters relating compensation circuit are defined on the datasheet.

Such as "gmps", "gmea", "Ro", "Co", "BW".

Which one has thermal-dependence on all of them?

Best Regards,

H. Sakai

  • Sakai-San,

GMea ie the transconductance of error amplifeir which  will vary with temperature and the data is available in the datasheet .

The power stage gain of current mode Buck converter is

where GMps=1/Avc , Now as seen from the equation GMps is dependent on internal current sense resistor and will vary with temperature . We dont have data on temperature variance on GMps.

Again BW and Open loop gain  are the  EA characteristics which will vary with temperature .

  • Dear, Ambreesh-san.

Thank you so much for your advive.

Now, the customer is facing output ripple issue, so they have provided the verification
    results including the schematic.

Is it possible to let me know your private e-mail address?
I could provide that for you through it. I am expecting your help at this time.

    Best Regards,
    H. Sakai
  • Sakai-san,
