TPS54232: TPS54232 Pulse-Skipping ECO-MODE Disable

First, Eco-mode is for improving light efficiency.

And about the ripple you tested, I think it's not real ripple, there should be some noise coupled from switching node(PH), please use below Link method to re-test, and when you test ripple, please don't test PH together, just in case switching noise coupled to ripple channel.

And by the way, if you insist to skip E-co mode, you could  reduce inductor value to make peak current bigger than 100mA to try.

However, We have been ripple tested and We have known "Understanding, Measuring, and Reducing Output Voltage Ripple"

We have tested EUP34510 on Eutech supply which same test environment. And We tested result that TPS54232 ripple more noise than EUP34510. Because we suggested ECO-Mode

Can you skip E-con mode completely as hardware control?

Hi Gerald,
This is the trade-off between the light load efficiency and ripple.
There is almost no method to close teh E-CO mode except try to reduce the inductor for54232/332.
and by the way if your application is 3A output, you should select 54332
if you really care the light-load ripple, you can look into TPS563208/563209, which are FCCM part.
