TPS61253A: Continuous Current Range.

Part Number: TPS61253A

Hi,

Could anyone tell me the difference between Switching Valley current and Dc current.

what will be the maximum output current for TPS61253A

1. 1500mA or 4A ??

If i had a load of 4A, will it discharge the battery at 4A? (Battery used 5200mah)

  • Hi Sir,

The DC current means the output current during the pre-charge phase, during the pre-charge phase, there's no switching.
The switching valley current means the inductor valley current after the pre-charge phase, Vo>Vin-0.3V at this phase.

The maximum output current capability of TPS61253A is 1.5A@Vin=3V , 1.75A@Vin=3.6V,  2A@Vin=4.2V.  it can't support 4A output load.

Could you please share the detailed application information with us? my email address is helen-chen@ti.com
