Part Number: TLV431A
My customer is using TLV431AIDBZR , so we supplied them in the month of Sept-16 @2500 Nos.
They took part in production and It is observed that IC (TLV431A1 shunt regulator IC) pins having solderability problem.
Observations: - 1) Components leads have the blackish coating.
2) During re flow soldering no wettability exhibits. So difficult for Re flow soldering.

Were there any tests performed in these parts before mounting? >>>>>>NO test performed . they took on the smt line and found 15 Nos not soldered properly and during reflow no wettability exhibits
Were the parts stored properly to avoid excess moisture and heat? >>>>> Yes it was stored properly and maintaining the temp range of 22 to 28 degree. also kept in anti sciatic bag.
Is this happening to all of the parts from the same lot? >>>> yes. it has happened to reel and they have ordered only one reel.

Was the bag still sealed before handing it to the customer? The concern here would be high moisture exposure.
Do you have a picture of the label on the bag? If not, can you tell me the characters on the top and bottom of the ICs?
