PMP10276: MOSFET instantly blows when power is applied

I have built a power supply based off the reference design PMP10276.

When I apply power to the board, the MOSFET Q1 instantly smokes. I have tried disconnecting R7 (the 0 ohm resistor connected to the gate of the MOSFET), and it still blows.

The only issue I can think of is improper part placement, but I have checked this more times than I can count.

Any suggestions on what the issue could be would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the quick response.

One thing I didn't mention in my initial question...

I replaced the MOSFET in the design (IPD65R600E6) with IPD65R600C6 since the original part is no longer available on digikey. It looks to have the exact same specs...
