TLC59284: TLC59284 / Rise and fall time of input digital signal

Hi,

Please let me ask if there is any limitation for rise and fall time of input digital signal. My customer consider to use slow rise and fall time to reduce high frequency EMI noise and signal reflection. From the datasheet, there is no information about it and there is only specified High and Low threshold.

We don't have a specified value for the rising and falling time of the input signals.
Does customer see EMI issue before? If so, can you give me more detailed infomation about the problem / test standard?

I'll ask my customer if they have seen EMI issue before, so please let me get back.
Regarding rise and fall time, do you mean that there is no limitation and they can slow rise and fall time what they want?

Not meanning no limitation, but no specified value for the maximum rising/falling time.

Hi Kenneth,

OK, I understand that the customer need to check the operation of application with their desired rising/falling time and judge if that rising/falling time should be no problem.
