TPS40170: Inpulse noise inserts to EN, VIN, UVLO or TRK pins

Hi all

Would you mind if we ask TPS40170.
Our customer's circuit is similar to TPS40170EVM-597.
On our customer's circuit, when VIN(the source of FET and VIN, EN and UVLO) is asserted DC24V and inpulse noise ±1kV@1us peak, the output stops.

<Question1>
If the inpulse noise adds to  EN, VIN, UVLO or TRK pins, may the device be latch up?
After that it may stop?

<Question2>
In relation to <Question1>, in order to prevent from inpulse noise, is SBD effective for the inpulse noise?

We would like to share customer's circuit and circumstance.
