TL7702B: TL7702B Timing Problem

Part Number: TL7702B

The RESET will have a high/low pulse during power on. May I know this pulse is correct? How to avoid this pulse?

Pin2: Q21.1

Pin7: input 12V

PIN6: CEX_RESET#

  • Hi Gary,

After reviewing, I see Pin2: Q21.1 goes high then low. In your schematic, this pin is connected to Q6 which allows this pin to be pulled high or low. If you do not want PIN6: CEX_RESET# to pulse, then keep Pin2: Q21.1 high. If you keep Pin2: Q21.1 high, then the PIN6: CEX_RESET# will depend on SENSE pin 7.

Is there a reason you pull Pin2: Q21.1 high then low? This pin is used disable the RESET and /RESET outputs but if not being used and if you only want the outputs to depend on the voltage at the SENSE pin 7 then tie pin 2 high.
