At present, when doing short circuit protection, the chip directly damaged.I would like to know if there is a short circuit protection.I want to know the difference of TPS54335A \TPS54335-1A\TPS54335-2A.

    This part has the over current protection, you can refer to the section 7.3.13 in the datasheet .
    The different between 335A and 335-1A is the package, TPS54335-1A device has a narrower heat-pad for more clearance between the pins and heat pad(Figure 21 in the datasheet).

    How did you do the short test? Connect the Vout and GND by wire or some other way ? And what's the Vin, Vout, Iload?
    For the difference of 2A, i'm not very sure. The web page shows the Operating Temperature Range of TPS54335-2A is -40 to 85 Deg; the TPS54335 is -40 to 125 Deg, but the datasheet of the TPS54335-2A shows the temperature range is -40 to 125 Deg. So i need time to double check it.
