LM5041: with 1 input half bridge gate driver

Hi Team,

The typical application shows LM5102 (2 input half bridge gate driver) for gate driver.



I believe LM5105 (1 input half bridge gate driver) is also usable with LM5041 and LD output of LM5041 should be left open in this case.
Is my understanding correct?

    Hi Yaita-san,

    Yes you can use the HD output as the input to the LM5105 and leave the LD pin open circuit or I suggest a small load of 1k to ground to provide some load to the internal drivers and to slow down the switching edges.

    Why does the customer not want to use the LM5102?

    According to web price, LM5105 is a little lower than LM5102 so I would like to decide which device I should suggest.
