TPS51200: REFOUT Capacitor

Hi, team.

How many is the maximum capacity of the REFOUT terminal?
0.1uf is recommended at the data seat, but transient overshoot is woken up.
It's improved by making the capacity increased, so I'd like to know the maximum capacity.

Hi Hirotsugu,

REFOUT follows REFIN, can you check if there is overshoot on REFIN?
EN is low, VTT is off. It should be no problem even there is a small overshoot on REFOUT, right?

Btw, it should be fine to keep total REFOUT capacitance on regulator side and DDR side below 0.47uF.

Qian-san,
REFIN is stable, there is no overshoot.
REFOUT is output in spite of H/L of EN.
Our customer want to loose overshoot, do you have any idea?

Btw, the refout overshoot happens when EN is low and VTT is 0V.

What's the impact of this overshoot to customer's system?

Can you check with customer, so we can better understand customer's concern?
