TLV62090: min/max switching frequency

Hello,

Could you please let me know the min/max switching frequency at heavy load?
According to the datasheet figure 3~6 ,  is the fsw(min) about 1.1MHz and fsw(max) about 1.5MHz?

    it's a pleasure to support you. Figure 3 to 8 in the datasheet show the switching frequency dependency with the load current Iout and input voltage Vin and output voltage Vout. The combination of these 3 conditions establish the switching frequency regime. Furthermore also the passives influence the switching frequency, so keep in mind that the pictures refer to this configuration: L = 1 µH, Cout = 22 µF

    Hence, you should identify the graph closer to your case's operating condition and refer to that one to estimate the switching frequency. Example:

    Vout=1.8V ; Vin= 2.8V  : Iout=1A to 3A -> figure 3 fits -> fmax=1.5MHz circa ; fmin=1.25 MHz circa

  • Hello Ryuji,

    TLV62090 has DCS control topology, hence the switching frequency variation depends on input voltage, load current, output voltage and output filter as well. Due to all these variables playing their role, we are not able to gather switching frequency variations over temperature and process.
