REF5030: TEMP with pull-up resistor

Hi, Team,

My customer use REF5030 to replace the ADI device. But REF5030 don't P2P directly, ADI device will have a pull up resistor at PIN3, which is TEMP PIN for REF5030.

Customer don't want to change the BOM. Can we use a 1kohm pull up resistor to 5V at the TEMP PIN? Thanks a lot!

Hi JW,

The TEMP pin is an output and should not be pulled up or down but monitored if used. If it is not used then do not pull it up or down. I would not recommend to use a pull up but instead leave the pin open. Is it possible for the customer to leave the REMP pin open?
