Hi,

Could you tell me about Vout accuracy.

When thinking about the worst case of accuracy of Vout taking temperature into consideration,

I understand that it is enough to add "output voltage temperature drift" and "Thermal hysteresis" in consideration of "initial accuracy",

is it correct?

For example, if you want to calculate Vout at 80 ° C environment,

if I consider the worst case, can I calculate by adding ± 0.15% to 1.25 V plus the calculation results of "Output voltage temperature drift" and "Thermal hysteresis"?

    Hi Yuto,

    There are many things to take into consideration when talking about absolute worst case accuracy. Errors that are guaranteed have maximum specifications, such as temperature coefficient, load regulation, and line regulation.

    Other errors that have a typical specifications such as thermal hysteresis, long-term stability, and low-frequency noise can contribute to the reference accuracy as well.

    In general, temperature coefficients and thermal hysteresis are known to be the largest contribution to overall reference inaccuracy.

    Hi Yuto-san,

    If taking Temperature Coeff. and Thermal hysteresis into consideration, then at 80C ambient, the worst case is:

    Initial accuracy, 15% = ±187.5 mV

    Temeperature dirft (max), (80C-25C)*30ppm/C = 1650ppm (±2.0625mV)

    Thermal Hysteresis (typ), 90ppm = ±.1125mV

    In total: ±189.675mV

    1,I understand that "Initial accuracy" is 0.15%, but should I calculate it with 15%?

    2,Is there information on the max value of "tharmal hysterisis"?

    Yuto-San,

    1. No, that was my mistake. Initial accuracy is 0.15% which in turn is a ±1.875mV min/max.

    2. No, we do not specify a maximum value of thermal hysteresis.
