Hi there,

I was trying to find a replacement of MC7812BDTRKG and LM340 popped up in the cross reference page.

However, my customer said that he prefers DPAK package while LM340 is in DDPAK.

Is there any other part that matches my customer's need?

Or is there any part of smaller package than DPAK?

Hi Roy,

The SOT-223 (DCY) package is the smallest package in which we offer a 12 V fixed output LDO capable of 1 A. Take a look at LM2940-N.

You can also set the output of TPS7A4701 to 12 V by using the ANY-OUT feature.
