Hi, team,

Our customer wants to add surge stopping and reverse voltage protection functions to his TPS2491 application.

He referred the application report SNVA683 and wants these schematics to add his TPS2491 application.

Is this possible way?

If so, are there any circuit parameters that should be made readjustment?

Could you please take a look at TPS2660 which provides integrated solution for surge and reverse polarity protection.

Many thanks for your comment.

However, customer wants to use the SNVA683 application replaced by TPS2491 to a 24V 5A load switch.

How do you think about this application possibility?

Customer strongly inquired to confirm his application possibility.

Hi Yoshifusa,

Yes TPS2491 should work in SNVA683 application in place of LM5069.
However, we have not tested TPS2491 in place of LM5069.
