BQ29200: Overcharge Detection (OVP)、Over-Discharge Detection (UVP)、Load Short-Circuit Detection (SCP)

Part Number: BQ29200
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ77905, BQ28Z610

Hi ,could you help give some suggestions how to use BQ29200 design for Overcharge Detection (OVP)、Over-Discharge Detection (UVP)、Load Short-Circuit Detection (SCP);from the datesheet I cannot find which PIN can be used to control MOS in the negative of  battery to design for OVP、UVP、SCP

  • Hi Darren,

This device does not have UVP nor any current protection. Perhaps tell me what battery configuration you are doing (how many cells in series and we can maybe recommend a different one. If you are doing anything 3S or higher use bq77905 if you are doing 2S use bq28z610 as that has build in protection.

    Thanks

    Miguel
