CSD25310Q2: No availability!

Part Number: CSD25310Q2

Hi!

I currently use CSD25310Q2 on a Battery Management board and I can not find it available anywhere. I was wondering if there is a direct chip replacement (does not need to have the exact specs, although the closer the better) and whether someone could help me with this.

Unfortunately, this is the only P-Channel 2x2 FET we offer. I could recommend something similar in a different package, but I assume you are looking for something that is pin to pin, correct?

Hello Brett,

Any insight as to why this particular component was designed with the source assigned to the larger pad instead of the drain? I am also trying to find a substitute component with the same footprint, but it looks like the CSD25310Q2 is the only component with such a pin out.

Victor and Michael,
TI's P-Channel technology is "source down" which is why the source pad is the largest. The competition is drain down.

For this reason, we are not aware of any competitors with the same pin assignment as this device.

Hi Michael,
SO far, it seems all other manufacturers use a "drain down" design, so finding a suitable replacement is being quite a challenging task. I will let you know if I find a pin to pin replacement though.
