BQ24770: Remove ACFET and RBDET

Hi Sir,

What if I remove ACFET and RBDET but still keep ACDET connected? Is this affect the opration of BQ24770?

Maybe the wrong chaging voltage will go into circuit, but ACDET won't let the voltage go through buck high-side MOS to the system, am I right?

Maybe the battery voltage will go reverse to the charging input , and make ACDET get the voltage from battery side....?

    If short out ACFET and RBFET,
    1. Yes, ACDET getting the voltage from battery side causes high battery quiescent current.
    2. After RBFET is removed, bq24770 loses the input source short protection.
    3. After ACFET is removed, bq24770 loses the input OVP, buck switching FET short protection.
