LM2731: How can i remove the over shooting on VOUT

Part Number: LM2731

Hello everyone,

I would like to have some help about the booster LM2731. My voltage input is 3.3V and Vout 7 V. I have a minimal load of 0.01mA.

Here is the ripple on the output. I have around 200mV of over shooting on the output and i don't know why. To try this chip, i'm using a bread board and a breakout board. Do you know how i can remove this over shooting?

  • The breadboard or the breakout board introduces large inductance to the output filter capacitors, and it will cause large ripple voltage when the converter switches. Please make a PCB to evaluate the switching performances.
