a, Could you help to check if the TPS54260-Q1 can work normally when the INPUT: 6V and the OUTPUT:5V/<1mA.

b, when can theTPS54260 enter to PSM ，DCM and CCM

You might have a higher ripple at dropout with TPS54260

TPS54260-Q1 should work properly with 6V input and 5V output 1mA load.

Mode change depends on the inductor current ripple in the design.

When DC load current > 1/2 ripple, it operates in CCM
When DC load current < 1/2 ripple, it operates in DCM
When either Tonmin or min peak limit is met, it will operate in PSM.
