TPS54426: What is VREG when Vin is 4.5V?

Dear E2E,

TPS54426 show that the operated Vin range could be lower to 4V5, but why the test condition as VREG is only Vin,min=6V, not 4.5V.

Customer is confused if tps54426 can operate lower to 4.5V.

    Hi Jason,

    VREG is nominally regulated to 5.5 V when the input voltage is above 5.6 V. When Vin is below 5.5V, VREG follows Vin and IC still works normally if VREG5 is above the UVLO wake up threshold voltage (3.8 V typical).
