Hi Edwin,
The turn on delay time is the time lag between PWM (low to high) signal to Switch-node (high to low) voltage. Basically, after the pwm signal has been asserted low to high, the device takes some time to start switching. The time lag between the rising edge of PWM to the falling edge of the voltage across mosfet is turn on delay. This is not the rise time.
The rise time (tr) parameter mentioned in the datasheet is the actual rise time of the mosfet.
