LP873220-Q1: how to program the OTP memory

Part Number: LP873220-Q1

thanks.

  • Hi,

As far I know, OTP is factory programmed by TI and customers cannot change the OTP on their own. If you need different OTP settings, please contact local TI field team and they will be able to help you.

However, i have forwarded this request to this device expert and he will add his comments if my above statement is not true.

    Regards,

    Murthy
  • Hi YiQin,

Murthy is correct, the OTP is programmed at TI factory, and cannot be programmed in the application.

However, if you have a microcontroller connected to I2C, the device can accept I2C commands before EN is set high. In this case, the microcontroller can set the voltage and sequence settings, then set EN high to use those new settings. These registers are reset to their OTP-default value at POR, so you would just need to make sure these are set at every power cycle.

    Regards,
