UCC25630-1EVM-291: How to built in LMG3410-HB-EVM

Part Number: UCC25630-1EVM-291
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMG3410-HB-EVM

Serkan-san,

I tried your proposal.

I just only changed Si MOSFET to LMG3410-HB-EVM according to your proposal.

But did not work.

RVCC does not up to 12V.

Do you have any idea?

Any check point?

  • Hi Hiroshi-san,

Thanks for your inquiry for UCC25630-1EVM. Do you see the LLC controller attempt to restart every 1s? The controller might be detecting a fault such as OCP during startup.

  • Ben-san,

Today it works very well.  I have got one idea of internal chane of LMG3410-HB-EVM (my EVM is old version)

1st AC in,  next DC230v in,  and then gradually up the DC input voltage.

I have got best efficiency curve.

Before this change, burst in point was changed to from 40%of full load, and changed to SR.

If someone give me new LMG3410-HB-EVM, I will write the change procedure. Because my EVM and user's guide cct.dia are different.

HS  385V on/ off switching waveform is pretty good and it looks like  very low voltage driver output waveform.

    Thank you.

  • Hi Hiroshi-san,

Do you need the old user guide or a new LMG3410 EVM? The latest LMG3410-HB-EVM user guide can be found here:www.ti.com/.../snou140a.pdf.

If you could email your change list to me at ben.lough@ti.com, I will forward it to the appropriate team.

  • Ben-san,

    I need new LMG3410-HB-EVM.

    Because I have old LMG3410-HB-EVM.

It looks like very smaller cap. on LMG3410 12v input.

New LMG3410-HB-EVM's 12V line cap is very heavy so that Rvcc 12v will be shut down.

    Especially focusing High-side boot-strap cap.

If I do not check this point, I can not show you the modification manual.

Can you ask the EVM to Masoud-san?

Sometime I was asking about GaN by email.

    Thank you.

  • Hi Hiroshi-san,

As this conversation has moved to email. I will go ahead and close this thread for now.
