LMZ35003: LMZ35003 / Limitation of startup time

Hi,

Please let me ask if LMZ35003 hsa limitation of startup time. Actually the customer consider to use input voltage that takes 50msec to 24V. Do you have any concern to such power up of input voltage?

    Hi Satoshi,

    There is no particular startup time spec for the device. However, the UVLO feature should solve your concern of a 50msec input voltage from the power supply. 

    By setting the UVLO accordingly, this will ensure that the device will begin power conversion once an appropriate voltage is seen on INH/UVLO. Another thing you can is increase the SS time to account for the delay in the input supply.

    My recommendation is to first add the resistor divider. The datasheet provides typical schematics for different Vout application in Section 11.7 that you can follow.
