TPS54331: TPS54331

Part Number: TPS54331

Hello,

I have used TPS54331 to get 3.3V/ 0.1 A from 4-5V input. I have used hysteresis in my design such that V start is 4 V and V stop is 3.8 V. It gives 3.3V out at 5 volt,4.5V. I have mentioned scenario below

1) when load current is 10 mA

I am able to get 3.3V at 4.1 V.It stops giving 3.3V when input is 3.8V and when I increase to 4.1 V, it is giving 3.3V. In this case, all my requirement are satisfied and hysteresis is also satisfied

Now problematic scenario

2) When load current is 80-100mA

at 5 v input output is 3.3V

at 4.3V input, output is 3.3V

at 3.9 V input, output is 0V

but when I  increased input voltage from from 3.9V to 4.1 V, I am not able to get 3.3V at 4.1 V. Instead I get 3.3V output at 5 V. Here hysteresis is not satisfied.

According to design I must get 3.3 V at 4.1-4.2V. How to solve this problem? Is loading condition responsible for this behaviour?
