BQ24753: Can I use this part for charging 7.4V , 10Ah Li ion battery

Hi team,

We are designing a battery operated device and we are planning to use a battery with 7.4V ,10AH battery .

And we have a requirement that it should be charged within 4 hours, DC Input voltage is 9V and device should use this supply voltage when plugged through adapter, and must not use the battery voltage and instead it should charge the battery.So we are planning to use BQ24753 battery charging IC. Will this IC be used, Please suggest ? If no please let me know the other option that is available?

Please suggest the suitable Battery Fuel Gauge IC also that will satisfy the above requirement specified(basically I2C interface is preferred)

End application is handheld HMI device

BQ24753: can be used to charge 7.4V , 10Ah Li ion battery.
But, the 9V input may be too low. Please make sure the VCC voltage is higher enough to avoid sleep comparator.

I think BQ24610 can also support this application.

Sorry, fuel gauge team and charge team are in same BU. But, different product line. I am not familiar with fuel gauge parts.

Would you please start a new post and post it on fuel gauge forum to find a support?
