LP2951: A question about LP2951

Hi team,

I have a question from my customer confused me, could you please give a hint to me?

That is my customer had a broken lp2951, which wrote CMC on the surface of painting like the picture following. And he cannot t find anything with extension CMC. Closest one was CM. bot, does that chip have same values as CMC ??

And what is the difference of those? He asked from this out local dealer and dealer said that there are too many variations from this chip, that he’s not able to say anything cause he cannot fount Datasheet for LP2951 CMC. Could you give some support of it? Does the LP2951 on www.ti.com be identical with LP2951 CMC?

    Hi Jenny,

    The only active device that the 2951 CMC marking refers to LP2951CM/NOPB. There are two NRND versions of this same device LP2951CM and LP2951CMX. Please note that all of these devices are covered by the LP2951-N datasheet and will meet the specifications defined in that datasheet.
