TPS51100: Vin Current Consumption at full load

Hi.

My customer want to know Vin current consumption at full load.

In datasheet, only output current limit spec.

They want to know Vin side current consumption.

Please let me know.

Hello,

TPS51100 is a linear regulator.
The input current (VLDOIN current) is equal to output current.

But They want to know VIN Current at full load, not VLDOIN.

In datasheet, Only VIN current at no load.

Hi SS,

The VIN current is used for internal control circuit, it is very small.
I did not find the test data of Vin current at full load condition, but based on my experience on other LDO DDR part, the Vin current is only a few mA at load condition.
