LMG3410-HB-EVM: LMG3410-HB-EVM

Part Number: LMG3410-HB-EVM

I am using this daughter card for a Dual Active Bridge DC-DC converter of the 250kHz switching frequency. I can not increase the DC bus voltage above 140 V even at 50 W power level. The fault signal is being generated and the device is getting shut off. Please help me in this regards.

  • Hello Avishek,
If you could share the schematics, that would really help. Are you using LMG3410-HB-EVM? If you are using this board and bias power is properly given, I would suspect that your converter is not soft-switching when you are starting up and you are switching at hard-switching at 250kHz, which can heat up the device and it can enter OTP fault. However, even with that, 140V bus voltage should not cause enough of heat for the device to go to OTP.
Can you share the cooling you are using ? Are you cooling the devices down with fans?
    Regards,
    Serkan
