Hello all,

I am using TPS564208 circuit as per the webench suggestions i am using 33.2 K resistor as a feed back to get the output voltage 3.6V input is 8.4 V and output i achieved 3.6 V that is fine as per my torch requirements, input and output capacitors aluminum electrolyte 47uf/25V.

My torch is taking 2A current,but through this circuit i am not able to operate torch on 2 A current,only up to 1 A only get it but as per data sheet it is giving 4A output current.

What values i have to change to get output current up to 4 A, any suggestions.

Could you please upload your schematic? And please acquire the Vout, SW waveform when problem happens.

input voltage:7.4 ~8.4V

Output Voltage 3.3Vltage: 3.3V

Hi,
the possible reason is that you need to use ceramic capacitor as Cout. If you use electrolytic cap, the ESR may be large, causing instability of the loop response. Suggest you change the output cap and try again.
