DC/DC Converter that can sink current

Hello,

I have an application where I need a DC/DC-Converter that produces a +12V mid-supply on the output with an +24V input.

The output must be able to sink at least 1A of current.

There was already a thread with a similar request but the proposed DC/DC converters accepted only a max of +20V on the inputs.

Please let me know if you know a converter that fits my requirements.

Here's a list of parts that may meet these specs. You can narrow down the part search with your knowledge of your system.

You are looking for parts with a FPWM pin (forced pulse-width modulation). This is one of the filter options but the filter checks if there's a trim, not a pin, so do not rely on this to give you all your options. You will have to look in the datasheet for a FPWM pin. You can also ctrl-f "sink" in the datasheet to find the maximum current sink capability of the part.

My recommendations: You can check out LM5160 and LM53602.

Thanks! It seems that the LM53602 wouldn't work because it only supports maximum output voltage of 10V. But the LM5160 looks promising.
