TPS62122: TIDA-00690: Unable to send BLE broadcast

Hi Giovanni,

I'm in the same situation. I just build the "Tida 00690" as described in application note.

I have connected the CC2650 launchpad Rev 1.3 with default FW. I have measured 1.8V pulse at the input of CC2650 lounchpad, it is around 36ms, but I can not see and BLE message.

The CC2650 launchpad works properly when is powered by a costant 1.8V , I can see BLE ADV message

Any suggestion?

Hi Paolo,

Did you follow the recommendation I gave in the previous post?

- Power off the LEDs of the launchpad.
- Reduce the period you send out broadcast events.

36ms are more than enough to send a broadcast event.

Hi Giovanni, I switch to Project Example Simple Broadcaster CC2650lp_Stack and _App, I have built and loaded loaded both without any modification.
Now I'm able to see the packet message.

Happy to hear that the problem was solved.

Yes, the example to be used is Simple Broadcaster CC2650lp_Stack and _App as reported in the user guide at pag 15. The first sentence after the picture.
