TLV62150: TLV62150 upgrade to TPS62150

Hello team,

could you please specify which are the enhancements from the TLV62150 to the TPS62150A? Is it just a matter of added features or does it have better efficiency in a certain condition?

    Hi Adrian,

    As you can see in the datasheets the efficiency curves are similar for both devices. What is the main concern here?

    thanks for the quick reply. I wanted to know which are the benefits of moving from the TLV62150 to the TPS62150A. On ti.com it says that the TPS62150A has improved performance compared to the TLV, but honestly I don't see much of a difference. Could you please let me know which are the improvements?

    Hi Adrian,

    These are both older devices, so I recommend TPS62147/8 as smaller, newer, more accurate replacements.

    All difference in the 62150 are found in the electrical characteristics table. Key among them are Vin range, Vout range, Iq, output accuracy, etc.
