Hi,

customer need to develop an application in explosive environment (EX).

He asks if inside load switch IC are any charge pumps or voltage doublers, which is important for his energy considerations.

    Hi DJ-NG,

    Would the customer be interested in switching over to the TPS22917? The TPS22860 does not have QOD / CT pins, which offers on/off timing flexibility and prevents the output from floating or discharging slowly based on output capacitance. Otherwise, you would have to add an external pulldown resistor network if you're trying to discharge the output quickly.

    The designer came back, the TPS22860 is a PFET design that does not contain an internal charge pump or voltage doubler.
