TPS2052B: output capacitance recommendation

Dear all,

Is it necessary to set 0.1uF and 22uF in a location near from OUT pin like Figure 32? What is the minimum capacitance value should we set?

Now, we already set 4.7uF in a location away from OUt pin.

    Hi, Takao,

    It's okay to set like that if Vout in your system is not very critical. The output cap in figure 32 will make out put voltage have smaller ripple and have better load transient performance(smaller overshoot and undershoot when load changes).
