My customer is considering TPS40007 and CSD16321Q5.

He has a question, so I would be grateful if you could advise.

I am considering CSD16321Q5 instead of Si4866BD

Is there circuit using CSD16321Q5 with TPS40007 reference design or other field?

Due to the specification of the controller of 3.3 V -> 1.2 V , the worst case of Vgs becomes about 2.6 V.

At this time, I think that FET may not turn ON due to variations.

It is helpful to know such information.

DC/DC Converter spec

Vin:3.3V, Vout:1.2V Iout:3.2A

I do not see any problem with using the CSD16321 FET. Attached is a calculator that you may find useful.

I also confirmed your FET group, they mentioned a concerning about Vgs minimum value.

They recommended CSD16340Q3 instead of CSD16321Q3.

So I'll share your answer and CSD16321Q3

I also think CSD16340Q3 would be a better fit for this application.
