Hello, I would like to get this evaluation board for driving the TPS92518HV eval board. It seems that this board is presently unavailable. Can you tell me when it will be available? Thanks!

Hello, thanks for your quick reply.
We already ordered both pcb (TI order number 1990620), but we only received the evaluation board of the TPS92518. The other board was not included and it was indicated that it is back-ordered, but we don't have any shipment date indicated. Can you please check when this LEDSPIMCUEVM-987 board will be shipped? Thank you Irwin. I have another question about the TPS92518 LED Controller:
There is no power conversion efficiency specification in the data sheet. Can you give me this information?

Hello Francois,

You can look at the EVM report for the efficiency of that design. The TPS92518 conversion efficiency depends on so many variables it cannot just be a number. It depends on input voltage, LED stack voltage, MOSFET chosen, switching frequency as well as the other components such as the inductor and freewheel diode also EMI filtering, dimming, etc. Note that the efficiency can be much higher than the EVM graph figure 2 and it can be much lower.
