HI John,

The main difference is TPS53317 Vout range is from 0.6V to 2V, while TPS53317A is from 0.45V to 2V.
Also, TPS53317A has tighter Fsw variation.

For new design, we suggest to use TPS53317A.

Hi Chen,

In the datasheet, the input voltage for the A version is 0.9~6V, while the non A version is 1~6A, is this the truth?
For the two parts, will the BOM should be changed for the same application?

HI John,

It is true that input voltage for A version is 0.9 to 6V, and non A version is 1 to 6V.
These two parts are pin to pin compatible. No BOM change is needed for the existing design.
