Hi team,

I have a SMPS with output 5V(±100mV ripple, 4.9~5.1V) @ 600mA.

Now I choose TPS63030 (buck-boost) as the latter DC/DC to get 5V output with lower ripple (±50mV) @600mA.

It's ok to choose TPS63030, if not, do you have other recommendations?

Hello Yang,

For this application TPS63030 or TPS63050 could be used. Both have a low ripple in PWM mode. The ripple in PSM mode is lower in TPS63050. The Iq is lower in TPS63030, so dependent on additional features of the device either or will be the better choice.
